At Mitruka, we want you to love your traditional wear. However, we understand that sometimes a product may not be the right fit. Please review our policy below.
Return Eligibility
Returns or exchanges are accepted only if the request is raised within 7 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be returned in its original packaging with all original tags, labels, and invoices intact. Mitruka reserves the right to refuse a return if the product is found to be used, damaged, or tampered with.
Non-Returnable Items
Please note that the following items are Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

Custom-Stitched or Tailored Items: Products that have been customized to your specific body measurements (e.g., stitched blouses, fall/pico on sarees, or altered lehengas) are strictly non-returnable.

Accessories: Jewelry, bindis, and other accessories are not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons.

Sale/Clearance Items: Items purchased during a sale or using a specific promotional code are final sale.
Damaged or Defective Products
We urge all customers to inspect the package for any damage or tampering before receiving or signing for receipt. If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must contact Mitruka Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide clear images or videos of the defect along with the order number. In the case of a genuine manufacturing defect or shipping damage, Mitruka will bear the cost of the return shipping and provide a full replacement or refund.
Return Process

Do not ship the product back without prior confirmation. You must first contact our customer support team to initiate a return request.

Once your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on where to ship the product.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, except in cases where the item was received damaged or the wrong item was sent.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service (such as Canada Post, UPS, or FedEx) or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our facility, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days. Shipping charges (if any) paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be cancelled only before the product has been shipped. If the order includes custom stitching, cancellation is not possible once the fabric has been cut or stitching has commenced. To cancel an order, please contact Customer Support immediately.
